Hope Tutoring Center Turns to Project Partners for Fundraising Planning

We are happy to announce our partnership with Hope Tutoring Center (HTC), a nonprofit organization empowering Arlington’s 2nd-8th graders to reach their full academic potential through free, individualized tutoring. This year, HTC has seen demand for its services increase by 50%, and with such an overwhelming need, they’ve turned to Project Partners for help with fundraising planning.

HTC received a North Texas Community Foundation Toolbox grant to support our fundraising consulting services. Together, we will be developing a fundraising plan that incorporates diversified funding sources and board engagement to increase capacity and better meet the growing need.

Over the next two months, Project Partners will guide HTC through our Seven Steps to Fundraising Planning process, working closely with their Executive Director and the fund development task force. We will also provide coaching on development strategies, best practices, and offer a work session for the board and staff to ensure everyone is aligned and ready to support fundraising efforts.

We are excited to help HTC take their fundraising and board engagement to the next level and enable them to continue providing life-changing tutoring services to the community.

Kreative Architectural Design Academy (KADA) Teams with Project Partners

Made possible by a Toolbox grant from the North Texas Community Foundation, Kreative Architectural Design Academy (KADA) has partnered with us to provide fundraising consulting. KADA, a nonprofit committed to empowering children through STEM education, is looking to enhance fundraising efforts to support its vital programs focused on architecture, robotics, interior design, and more.

Together, with KADA Founder and Executive Director, Kristal Gurley, we will be crafting a fundraising plan tailored to KADA’s unique needs. Our work will focus on diversifying funding sources and integrating ongoing board engagement into the fundraising process for long-term success.

Over the next two months, we will collaborate with KADA to implement our Seven Steps to Fundraising Planning, ensuring a strategy that’s sustainable and effective. We are also thrilled to provide coaching on best practices and development strategies along the way.

The cause area of education and workforce development is a sweet spot for us.  Stay tuned for updates as we work together with KADA to plan for their fundraising efforts to reach new heights.

Cowtown Clubhouse Plans For Fundraising Success

Fueled by a Toolbox grant from the North Texas Community Foundation, Cowtown Clubhouse is teaming with Project Partners to build a fundraising plan that incorporates diversified funding sources and ongoing board engagement in the fundraising continuum.  We will work together through our Seven Steps to Fundraising Planning exercise, the Infrastructure for Fundraising Readiness, and conclude with a board member orientation to the resulting plan.

Resulting fundraising success will no doubt help Cowtown Clubhouse achieve its vision to serve as a flagship Center for the Clubhouse model, providing transformative services to people living with mental illness and changing the conversation about mental illness in the larger community.

We feel honored to be working with this dedicated team and look forward to sharing more about their mission.

Good Work, Again, For HEB ISD Education Foundation

We are proud to be continuing our work in collaboration with the HEB ISD Education Foundation Board of Directors, the HEB ISD staffing team, and the HEB Chamber of Commerce, to forward the Foundation’s mission to support the HEB ISD’s commitment to excellence in education. Read more about this project.

A 14th Year of Work Begins with the HEB ISD Education Foundation

Long-term assignments are not new to us.  When the HEB ISD Education Foundation first reached out about possibly teaming in late summer of 2011, we had just completed a fifteen-year assignment that supported the board of directors for the North Texas Clean Air Coalition, nine years of work with the Tarrant Independent Schools Consortium, and fourteen years of service to the North Texas Cutting Champions Club.  Yet I couldn’t have imagined at the time that the new partnership that resulted from the interview would become one of those long-term assignments.

It has been such a pleasure to team with this board of directors that is laser-focused on achieving its mission, which is to raise and award private funds and community resources to support the excellence in education of the HEB ISD.  And they do so with such joy and gratitude for the opportunity.  It’s no wonder a fourteenth year of working together is beginning!

“I’m so glad I found you!  Project Partners has been a very successful partner for the HEB ISD Education Foundation – we wouldn’t be where we are today without your advice, expertise, ideas and follow through. I appreciate all you and your team have done!”
