Project Partners seeks a Project Director for a Business/Community/Education Partnership client. This is a work-from-home (WFH)/Contract opportunity with an estimated average of 15-20 hours/week over a one year assignment with a likelihood of renewal. Project fees are $3000/month, payable after previous month’s work.

The ideal candidate will be seeking a challenging, rewarding, full-time WFH contract opportunity to serve as the Project Director for a key Business/Community/Education Partnership client in Northeast Tarrant County. Additional paid consulting assignments will be offered.

The Project Director will:
Provide expert consulting and project management services to our Business/Education/Community Partnership client in Project Partners’ service areas of community relations, event management, fundraising, program development, board and volunteer engagement, and facilitating/training.
Support Project Partners’ strategic vision, organizational goals, outreach, workflows, and results.
Report to the President at first, and coordinate with the Manager of Client Services and Engagement, the Operations Manager, and team of Associates. Foster partnerships with clients, collaborators, and community leaders.
Consider additional paid consulting assignments within Project Partners’ portfolio.
Participate in Project Partners’ 30-year anniversary plans for 2024.
Qualifications:
A minimum of five (5) years of demonstrated success and leadership in nonprofit management – administration, fundraising, board development, event management, community program development, PR/marketing, and facilitating/training–and the ability to capably apply that expertise when producing impeccable work for clients.
Degree in related field. Certified Fundraising Executive (CFRE) certification or candidate for CFRE certification preferred. Expertise in Business/Community/Education Partnerships and/or Education and Workforce Development is a plus, as is prior consulting experience.
Good understanding of the community leadership landscape of North Texas.
Great phone, people, presentation, and writing skills; ability to research, develop, and apply ideas; work independently and as a team; meet deadlines, follow directions, and take initiative.
A preference for managing multiple tasks and responsibilities. Strong analytical, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills. Commitment to continuous improvement.

Natural aptitude for business and an interest in additional paid consulting assignments.
Ability for independent travel in North Texas for company, client, collaborator, and community meetings and events.
Excellent technology skills and proficiency in Microsoft 365 (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Publisher, Teams, Forms), Dropbox Business, Canva, Adobe suite, Zoom, Google suite, social media, Constant Contact, QuickBooks online, DonorPerfect, Wix, Cognito Pro, and more.
