Birdville ISD Education Foundation Develops New Strategic Plan

After facilitating several strategic planning work sessions where very committed Executive Committee members of the Birdville ISD Education Foundation affirmed their mission and an assertive program of work to achieve that mission, we helped develop a new strategic plan for the organization. That same Executive Committee met today in a two-hour budget workshop to assure a proposed budget that would then support this new direction and program of work.  Kudos to this hard-working group of volunteers dedicated to the success of the Birdville ISD students and staff.

Gladney Center for Adoption Convenes Executive Committee

Project Partners was thrilled to serve Gladney Center for Adoption once again, this time as facilitator for the Executive Committee retreat held at the Fort Worth headquarters.  The primary goal for these executive committee members and their staff leadership team was to reach a clear understanding of the strategic direction of Gladney's key programs.  We'd say "mission accomplished" for this impressive group dedicated to creating bright futures through adoption.

More than $1.8 million raised during work with the Plano ISD Education Foundation

Project Partners concluded a four-year assignment with the Plano ISD Education Foundation, providing grant writing and grant program management. The partnership provided continuity through three Executive Director transitions and assured investments of more than $800,000 to the students and staff of Plano ISD, not counting a million dollar Toyota grant and several other multi-year grants. We also focused very successfully on prospecting for new relationships and funding opportunities. Funds raised supported STEM initiatives, AVID programs, grants to educators, an outdoor science camp, family literacy, teacher externships, and more. The Plano ISD Education Foundation is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit whose mission is to help all students in the Plano Independent School District achieve their full potential by providing financial support to educators and academic programs. Their board and Executive Director, Kristin Alexander, do a super job.
