6/13/17 Thanks to Mayor Jim Griffin, Board Chair of the HEB ISD Education Foundation, Lerii F. Smith, CFRE was the guest speaker for the Northeast Leadership Forum breakfast meeting. She delivered a speech on one of her favorite topics - Business and Education Partnerships - and shared many case studies of Project Partners’ work through the years. These win-win relationships can bring joy, goodwill, and success to all involved.
6/2/17 Staff and volunteer leadership of the Jordan Elizabeth Harris Foundation gathered near DFW Airport to envision a future where suicide is never a choice and to create a strategic plan to carry forward their mission - to eradicate suicide by funding depression research, creating awareness through education, erasing the stigma, and providing hope to those who are struggling in silence.
5/31/17 Today marks a full year of development work with the Fort Worth Academy family and what a year it was! The annual giving campaign raised more than $100,000 in a short campaign season and involved more than 90% of the families, Extravaganza netted $300,000, and almost $110,000 was given to the new Bill Broderick Trajectory Program, in honor of Bill’s retirement. In addition, several foundation relationships were renewed and a new Director of Development was named.
5/16/17 After a highly successful Party on the Patio, Child Study Center called on Project Partners to handle the Children’s Golf Classic at Mira Vista on June 26th. Originally planned for earlier in the spring, there is opportunity to re-engage sponsors, teams, and players for this important event.
5/15/17 The HEB ISD Education Foundation renewed our work for the 2017-2018 fiscal year. This will be our seventh year to serve this amazing 30-member board who are dedicated to supporting the excellence in education of the HEB ISD.
5/9/17 The Jordan Elizabeth Harris Foundation folks called on Project Partners for development of their case for support and for facilitation of their board work session on June 2nd which will focus on visioning, fundraising, and programming.
5/3/17 Cassata Catholic High School’s 20th annual Noche de Gracias was enjoyed by more than 200 guests on the patio of Joe T Garcia’s on an unseasonably cool and windy day. Hearts were warmed by the highlights of the evening which included hearing from a successful alumni from 1997; a grateful parent; the 2017 valedictorian; the advisory council chair; and also honoring Good Shepherd Catholic Community with the Spirit of Cassata award. This school has been changing lives since 1975.
4/20/17 When unexpected development staff transitions occurred, our friends at Child Study Center once again called on Project Partners - this time to help assure success of their annual fundraising event, Party on the Patio, May 9th, at Joe T Garcia’s.

Project Partners has done much grant writing and grant program management in our 23 years - as part of larger scopes of work; as interim help during key staff transitions; and as long-term assignments for clients who love the many benefits of contracting for professional help.
3/23/17 The HEB ISD Education Foundation once again produced an inspiring event - the Awards of Excellence - recognizing 33 high school seniors and their teacher mentors in 14 fields of study. Foundation board member participation was exemplary, as was the support from the HEB ISD Board of Trustees, the HEB ISD Cabinet, elected officials, and our donors, who make this event and all of the foundation’s work possible.
3/9/17 The board members of Brothers Keepers, a nonprofit dedicated to serving veterans and first responders, met at UTA downtown to address key strategic planning questions. Lerii F. Smith, CFRE facilitated the discussion, charted the responses, and provided notes, observations and recommendations on next steps for continued growth and success.
3/1/17 Already on assignment with Cassata Catholic High School for grant writing and grant program management work, Project Partners also stepped in to coordinate their annual Noche de Gracias fundraising and outreach event, scheduled for May 3rd and once again graciously hosted by Joe T. Garcia’s.
2/9/17 TCC Foundation circled back to Project Partners to produce an annual report/15-year report that celebrates such a milestone. This will be our 6th project (writing/design, event management, board retreat planning and facilitation) for these fine folks who work to raise and invest funds and community resources to benefit the mission of the Tarrant County College District.
1/30/17 Project Partners delivered the recommendations report to the executive team of the Tarrant Area Food Bank, outlining next steps to assure the best development department infrastructure going forward. We are pleased to report that Stephen Raeside has been named Senior Director of Development.
1/12/17 Our client of six years, the HEB ISD Education Foundation, enjoyed a 50% increase in participation in the semester-end/holiday parent outreach and awareness program. This initiative encourages parents and others in our community, like Adopt-a-School companies, to give financial gifts to the education foundation in honor of their teachers and other beloved educators instead of the usual candy or candle. The educators still get a treat - a yummy, customized cookie for the students to deliver, in addition to a tribute page they’ve helped design.

12/21/16 After an assessment work phase, the Down Syndrome Partnership of North Texas leadership renewed its partnership for continued work together on strategic planning.
12/16/16 Fort Worth Sister Cities International once again teamed with Project Partners for event and fundraising consulting and project management for the Members Circle campaign and the 2017 Mayor’s International Dinner.
12/6/16 After significant work with us by the Strategic Planning Task Force, the board members of the Fort Worth Drowning Prevention Coalition met to discuss their mission and program of work going forward. Outcomes to date are impressive. The final strategic plan will help guide them towards their goals.
11/20/16 The volunteer board members of the Down Syndrome Partnership of North Texas met in a board retreat and discussed, in part, Project Partners’ assessment of the opportunities that lie ahead for the organization. Further strategic planning will take place to focus on the mission and the program of work to achieve that mission.
11/16/16 Project Partners received formal notification from the Texas Education Agency (TEA) of approval as a registered provider of continuing education for school board members in the areas of vision, advocacy and unity. We have worked collaboratively with scores of school board members through the years. As community engagement experts, this allows a more direct opportunity to be of service.
11/2/16 Blue Zones Project Fort Worth returned to Project Partners, this time for facilitation of an off-site management staff meeting as they look ahead to exceeding goals for 2017.
10/31/16 Thanks to great volunteer Chairs and Grade Captains, an incredible case for support, consistent and caring outreach, a fun incentive and reward package, and a defined time frame, Fort Worth Academy achieved a phenomenal 90% parent participation for the Annual Fund campaign.
10/24/16 Fort Worth Drowning Prevention Coalition returned to Project Partners for a strategic planning refresh. Founded in 2012, outcomes have been extraordinary. Now it’s time to look ahead to make sure that the Coalition continues to make an impact to prevent drowning deaths in Fort Worth, Texas.
10/11/16 Unity One Credit Union circled back to us again for event logistics services for the October 22nd KIDtoberfest Magic & Mischief Show at their N. Tarrant Parkway location. Very fun. They know the importance of splendid planning and execution for these important community outreach events.
9/21/16 The success of the inaugural Members Circle fiscal year was celebrated at the annual meeting of Fort Worth Sister Cities International at the Fort Worth Club. Five hundred companies and individuals were introduced to the important mission, $300,000 was raised through the campaign, $38,000 was already pledged for the new fiscal year via the inaugural Sustainers, $48,000 was raised for students through Photos with Santa, $150,000 was given in student and educator scholarships, and $40,000 of Lead Gifts were announced for the new year, along with the new volunteer leadership. Congrats, Sister Cities!

8/17/16 The Fort Worth ISD Education Foundation Board Work Session hosted by Board Chair Dr. Mike West, President of UTA Fort Worth, was a big success. The board members met to focus on their mission, their program of work to achieve that mission, and funding priorities.
8/12/16 The HEB ISD Education Foundation board participated in the HEB ISD Convocation, announcing a record-setting Lead Gift Campaign to the 2016-2017 Superintendent’s Circle of Giving. In addition, the HEB ISD Staff Campaign was launched with a theme of "Inspire.Innovate.Invest."
8/8/16 CASA of Tarrant County has returned to Project Partners during a time of transition. We will be helping them determine how their development department should be structured going forward. Congrats to new CEO/Executive Director, Don Binnicker, MSSW, on his recent appointment. The organization and the children they serve will truly benefit from such a strong leader with proven program and administrative experience.
8/1/16 The Fort Worth Chamber of Commerce extended our agreement for Strategic Pathways to Student Success consulting and project management through September. Work is underway for a pilot phase this next academic year and there is much to do for this collective impact project.
7/20/16 Unity One Credit Union turned to Project Partners for a third project - this time for help to professionally execute their Gear Up for School event on August 20th at their North Fort Worth location. This important community event will include free school supplies, refreshments, music, and more for approximately 400 students.
6/30/16 Cassata Catholic High School extended an agreement for grant writing and grant program management work for 2016-2017. Cassata is a gem in our community’s educational continuum crown - opening doors and transforming lives...one student at a time.
6/13/16 After a successful inaugural spring staff campaign totaling more than $16,000, plans are underway for an August 17th Fort Worth ISD Education Foundation Board Work Session to help craft a program of work focus, especially with fundraising and community engagement in mind.
6/1/16 Fort Worth Academy turned to Project Partners once again to manage the key development initiatives for the 2016-2017 academic year as the Assistant Headmaster for Advancement resigned her position. Too, this will be Headmaster Bill Broderick’s last year at the Academy, and the very dedicated staff and board of directors are committed to continued development success.

4/29/16 The results of the first week of the Fort Worth ISD’s inaugural employee giving campaign are exciting: 131 employees have given more than $12,000 to the Scholarship Fund and many have shared incredible testimonials about the value and work of the new Fort Worth ISD Education Foundation.
4/22/16 Campaign features - including the theme, concept, copy, graphics, timeline, rewards, online giving portal, superintendent’s support and cooperation with the terrific Fort Worth ISD Communications Department - are set for the inaugural Fort Worth ISD Education Foundation employee giving campaign launch next week.
3/30/16 The Strategic Pathways to Student Success Task Force met to monitor results. Work Groups have produced high tech tool recommendations, survey results from students, counselors and college/career coaches, and an educational community resources guide. Next priority might be the focus on the high touch approach to college and career readiness.

12/10/15 Project Partners finalized a new Members Circle campaign piece for Fort Worth Sister Cities International that will be a key tool for communicating their important mission, recognizing volunteer leadership and attracting support for their cause.
11/20/15 CFRE International notified Lerii F. Smith that her application for re-certification as a Certified Fund Raising Executive (CFRE) was approved. Lerii is one of only 5000 worldwide to achieve this credential that she originally earned in 2006. It is awarded for proven education, experience, performance, service and examination.
11/11/15 Under the direction of Dr. Cynthia Fisher Miller, Sr. Vice President of Education and Workforce Development of the Fort Worth Chamber, Jenna M. Waters took the lead for Project Partners in supporting the impressive Strategic Pathways to Student Success Model Task Force for a full Stakeholder Briefing at the Fort Worth Club. We crafted the invitation list and the invitations, managed the RSVP’s, created the collateral, scripted the speakers, prepped the speakers, created and managed the Prezi presentation, produced a response form and coordinated the logistics. Results exceeded expectations: 54 attendees represented a great cross-section of the targeted community and we received an overall 74% rate of return on responses regarding shared outcomes.
10/28/15 Workforce Solutions for Tarrant County launched the Tarrant County Alliance for Economic Independence during their Summit at the Lena Pope Amon Carter Center (one of our favorite event venues). It was a pleasure to work with the staff and Mike Doyle, Workforce Solutions Delivery Systems Committee Chair, and his Summit committee to produce such an important gathering of key nonprofit service providers.
10/25/15 A weekend of pouring rain did not faze the AIDS Outreach Center volunteers, staff, exhibitors, sponsors, and walkers who participated in the Hope Walk at Trinity Park. As event coordinators, we were happy for a cloudy, but dry afternoon of good outdoor fun for a great cause.
10/4/15 With Chrissie Stuntz in the lead, we had the privilege to manage logistics for the ACH Child and Family Services "Century of Caring" event at Sundance Square. Perfect weather, a great crowd and terrific entertainment framed a wonderful and memorable event.

8/20/15 Joe Taylor, Chair of the Long Range Planning Committee for Senior Citizen Services of Greater Tarrant County, and his fellow board members dedicated a generous amount of time to their 2015 Board Retreat at Mira Vista Country Club. Consensus was reached on a growth model strategy that will honor their decades-long commitment to seniors in need and serve even more seniors in our community in the future.

7/13/15 TG has granted the Fort Worth Chamber funds to further incubate the Strategic Pathways to Student Success Model. Project Partners assisted with the grant proposal, facilitated the initial two meetings that helped birth the model and has supported the chamber’s work to under-gird the Task Force’s incredible work.
7/11/15 AIDS Outreach Center has re-branded their walk (now HopeWalk) and moved it to the fall. With a change in staffing, they have called on Project Partners to provide consulting and project management support to their impressive volunteer committee. Mark your calendars for October 25th!
6/11/15 Project Partners sponsored the HEB Chamber’s State of Education luncheon, featuring Superintendent Steve Chapman, giving equal billing to our client, the HEB ISD Education Foundation. The HEB Chamber is a client, too, and serves as the administrative arm for the foundation, so this was a win-win all around. Lots of our board members and campaign supporters were in the audience. 6/3/15 Long-time friend, client and collaborator, Workforce Solutions for Tarrant County, called on Project Partners for consulting and project management for its Community Summit to be held October 28th. This summit, planned by a committee chaired by Mike Doyle, will be designed to inform our community of the new WIOA, Workforce Solutions’ role in it, and its vision for a resulting program of work called "Tarrant County Alliance for Economic Independence".

It is truly our privilege to work with this dedicated group of corporate and community leaders dedicated to supporting the excellence in education of the HEB ISD.

5/6/15 Six board members of Victory Therapy Center pledged a collective $19,000 of Lead Gifts to the new Victory Circle of Support that will launch in June. Even better is that the pledges were for Sustaining gifts, tripling the commitment to $57,000 in three years.

3/7/15 The American Red Cross BASH at Panther Pavilion was a huge hit! Featuring Green River Ordinance and a MASH-like theme, this event raised awareness and funds for the ARC’s service to the military. Staci Kirpach of Project Partners had the privilege to serve as Team Leader and Logistics Coordinator, working hand-in-hand with Committee Chair Alice Puente, her volunteer team, and the ARC staff.

2/13/15 Cook Children’s Health Care System called on Project Partners for a second round of coordination for the CCHAPS Focus Groups project. CCHAPS stands for Community-wide Children’s Health Assessment & Planning Survey. The last survey was completed in 2012. Wendy Misfeldt will take the lead on this project.

10/8/14 "Friends of Henry and Scout" launched today at the grand opening of the new animal medical treatment ward, with $64,000 of First Friends gifts. This giving program is designed to attract ongoing community support for the animals who find themselves in the care of the City of Fort Worth.
10/4/14 The team "How the West Was Run" with members Romy Basil, Victoria Puente, Annie Agarwal, and our very own Staci Kirpach, won the award for "Most Funds Raised" for the Fort Worth Sister Cities Amazingly Global Race in Sundance Square Plaza.

8/6/14 Plano ISD Education Foundation board and staff made the decision to partner with Project Partners for grant program management for the 2014-2015 fiscal year. Since 2000, Plano ISD Education Foundation has gifted more than $7 million to priority programs and projects of the Plano ISD.
7/24/14 The Child Study Center has returned to Project Partners for grant program coordination and event management services during key staff transitions. The Child Study Center brings potential to light for thousands of children each year.
7/21/14 The Friends of Henry and Scout creative concept logo, tagline, and giving levels are complete. Look for more info soon on the city’s website about how you can become a Good Friend, Best Friend, and Guardian for Henry and Scout, the city’s adopted mascot rescues, and all their friends saved and served by our city’s animal care department. This program will launch at the grand opening of the new Medical Treatment Ward, made possible by generous donors and the Community Foundation of North Texas.
7/18/14 HEB ISD Education Foundation Lead Gift appeal letters, complete with personal notes from the board president, vice-president, and superintendent of schools, dropped. With volunteer encouragement by phone, e-mail, and in person, we expect a significant amount of support to be raised before convocation in a month.

3/25/14 Camp Fire First Texas returned to Project Partners for help coordinating their grant management program. Grant income represents a large portion of their revenues each year. Project Partner’s Chrissie Stuntz - writer, consultant, and project manager - will provide some relief in writing retention grants during this busy "grant season."
3/25/14 Lerii F. Smith facilitated a subcommittee meeting of the Fort Worth Chamber’s Quality Workforce Development Committee. An impressive group, these leaders represented the chamber, UTA, TCC, Fort Worth ISD, businesses, the Education Service Center, parents, Workforce Solutions for Tarrant County, and United Way. The focus of the discussion was on how best to enhance college and career readiness for Fort Worth ISD students.
3/23/14 Fort Worth was once again home to the McCammon Voice Competition semifinals and finals, the "Cliburn" of operatic talent, held this weekend at the Kimbell Art Museum and Bass Hall. The Opera Guild of Fort Worth volunteers work tirelessly towards their mission to foster the talents and careers of young opera singers through an internationally recognized voice competition.
3/6/14 The HEB ISD Education Foundation honored 29 outstanding high school students and their selected teacher mentors at the Awards of Excellence event at the Pat May Center. Dinner was catered by the HEB ISD Culinary Arts students and each student was congratulated by State Senator Kelly Hancock, Superintendent Steve Chapman, and Foundation Board President Alicia McGlinchey.
2/25/14 Project Partners delivered an executive summary and recommendations report to the Executive Director of the Texas Council on Family Violence. Recommendations were based on assessment phase work regarding the need for increased fundraising capacity for TCFV.
2/20/14 More than 120 realtors, developers and home builders gathered with educators at the CISD Bill R. Johnson Career & Technology Education Center to learn of the remarkable work of Crowley ISD. They heard directly from Superintendent Dan Powell and also from Steve Saxon of Legacy Capital Co., who shared information regarding the new Chisholm Trail Ranch development.
2/15/14 TCC Foundation Board Chairman, Bob Benda, and Committee Chairs, David Parker and Randall Canedy, planned and executed another great board member retreat at the TCC Opportunity Center. Lerii was happy to have returned to help plan and facilitate the retreat that worked to further enhance the board’s focus on engagement in the fundraising mission of the foundation.

12/5/13 SafeHaven extended their work with Project Partners to focus on three things: a board orientation regarding their role in fundraising, the determination of communication staffing roles, and the refinement of key volunteer job descriptions.
11/27/13 The Texas Council on Family Violence in Austin, dedicated to promoting safe and healthy relationships and an end to domestic violence, called on Project Partners for help with assessing fundraising opportunities - messaging, programs, and staffing of that function within the organization.

Smith presented the findings of the Capital Improvements/Reorganization Survey to the board of the Lockheed Martin Recreation Association (now Corporate Employees Recreation Association). A new manager has been named and this organization will use the information gleaned from the survey of prospective corporate partners to make informed decisions during this critical time of transition.

5/7/13 Nationally recognized Fort Worth Sister Cities returned once again to Project Partners for logistics oversight, volunteer management and technical support for the 2013 Mayor’s International Dinner - "Dancing with the Sister Cities Stars". This event, scheduled for November 21, 2013, engages more than 500 guests and raises more than $200,000 for the important FWSCI mission.

4/24/13 The HEB ISD Education Foundation’s Superintendent’s Circle event hosted 80 key corporate, community, and educational leaders at Texas Star in Euless, honoring outgoing HEB ISD superintendent, Dr. Gene Buinger, and new superintendent, Steve Chapman. The foundation has raised more than $111,000 in the 2012-2013 annual giving campaign.

4/18/13 Project Partners concluded a grant retention management program for CASA, (Court Appointed Special Advocates), submitting fourteen grants representing $93,600 in retention dollars from foundations and community trusts. We also served on the Host Committee for the April 25th Judge Scott Moore Awards Dinner.
3/29/13 Project Partners wrapped up a two-month grant management program assignment with long-time client, Campfire First Texas. Not only did we manage the research, development, and submission of grants due within this time frame, we also created a master grant management work sheet for the team and conducted a complete assessment of the grant management system of processes and procedures. A complete checklist and recommendations report was provided. We continue to provide ongoing consulting to the newly- named grant manager.

2/08/13 Court Appointed Special Advocates (CASA) of Tarrant County partnered with us for grant program consulting and project management. CASA speaks up for abused and neglected children by
training court-appointed volunteers to make recommendations for safe,
permanent homes where these children can thrive. Significant revenue to support this critical mission is realized through their grants program.
2/04/13 The HEB ISD Education Foundation’s annual giving campaign ’Excellence in Education’ has exceeded goal by more than $10,000, four months ahead of schedule, and with one appeal remaining. This board of directors and the staff of the HEB ISD really took the lead and set the tone for success.
1/28/13 The Tarrant Independent School Consortium returned to Project Partners for a ninth year of consulting and project management for the 2013 Private School Preview, which provides an opportunity for families to visit with more than 30 private schools all at one time, under one roof.

10/19/12 After much collaboration and development work, Staci Kirpach of Project Partners provided a completed strategic social media plan to the Bobby Bragan Youth Foundation team. Implementation of the plan will engage more community in their good work. They are already seeing immediate results.

9/28/12 Project Partners completed a four-year assignment with the Fort Worth Convention & Visitors Bureau, having guided the Bureau through the design, development and implementation of a community partnership program that grew to attract cash and in-kind support of more than $700,000 a year. 9/10/12 With Project Partners’ consultation, the HEB ISD Education Foundation raised more money in three months than they had been raising in a year. This is one terrific board who retained Project Partners for another school year for consulting and project management services in the areas of strategic planning, fundraising, community relations, program development, event management and volunteer engagement.
9/10/12 For the fifteenth year, the Fort Worth Chamber of Commerce turned to Project Partners for member benefit fulfillment and donor relations management for the North Texas Cutting Champions Club initiative. The chamber takes the lead on raising and awarding private support for the NCHA retention fund.
9/4/12 After successful completion of logistics for nine focus groups for CCHAPS, the Cook Children’s Health Care System returned to Project Partners for logistics coordination for the October 9th Regional Child Health Summit at the Cendera Center.
8/29/12 The Project Partners team will once again assist the HEB Chamber of Commerce with its gala, "HEB’s Got Talent, A Year in Revue", providing welcome auction logistics relief to the dedicated staff and volunteers of this great organization.
8/23/12 The Bobby Bragan Youth Foundation turned to Project Partners for social media consulting and executive coaching. The plan and subsequent orientation to it will be designed to help the Foundation build relationships, raise its community profile, and raise more money among key stakeholders.
8/21/12 The Crowley ISD kicked off the 2012-2013 academic year with an impressive Convocation, hosted by the Great Commission Baptist Church. Each campus was introduced, and educators and the teams that support them were recognized and applauded. Key community leaders in attendance supporting the district included Senator Wendy Davis, Senator Davis’ Outreach Coordinator, Christine Fougerousse, Commissioner Roy Brooks’ Outreach Coordinator and Chair of the Crowley Chamber of Commerce Board, Cathy Young, Crowley Chamber of Commerce President, Terri Horn, City Councilman Johnny Shotwell, and several members of the CISD Board.
8/17/12 Three weeks into a Lead Gift fundraising appeal for the 2012-2013 Annual Giving Campaign, the HEB ISD Education Foundation announced a $76,250 total at the HEB ISD Convocation. In addition, the Foundation kicked off the HEB ISD Staff Campaign and awarded more than $47,000 in grant awards to twenty-two individuals and campus teams.
7/31/12 The HEB ISD Education Foundation Annual Giving Campaign announced a Lead Gift total of $45,000 in pledges and donations, one week into the Lead Gift fundraising appeal.

4/2/12 A record number of grant applications from 70 different individuals or teams from the district were received by the HEB ISD Education Foundation. A full grant review process will conclude with the Foundation awarding more than $30,000 to deserving educators.
3/30/12 Project Partners delivered a comprehensive fundraising and community engagement plan to the Arlington Life Shelter Executive Director and Deputy Director. The plan is designed to engage more volunteers, raise more money and improve the community profile of the Shelter, now in its 25th year of restoring hope to the homeless through food and shelter, support services, a jobs program, and self-sufficiency.

2/12/11 The “I Have a Dream” Foundation® Fort Worth celebrated another successful literacy promotion and fundraising event as the 10th Annual ‘Reading Rocks’ unfolded Saturday, February 12 at Ridglea Country Club. This event, chaired by Erin Daily and Kristen Ethridge, who aptly led a full volunteer committee, featured author Dan Yaccarino. 600 children and adults attended, with more than $75,000 being raised through sponsorships and an expanded silent auction to provide academic assistance, college preparation, career development and scholarship assistance for higher education to disadvantaged and educationally challenged students in Fort Worth.

First Command pledged $250,000 to the foundation to support the Money Matters financial literacy curriculum program, designed to help school districts respond to the legislative mandate to teach financial literacy before high school graduation.
6/1/10 The Key School, dedicated to providing individualized instruction in a unique 4:1 student/ teacher ratio learning environment, is considering a new building. Key School hired Project Partners for a capital campaign feasibility study. That report is due September 30, 2010.

4/13/10 Lerii F. Smith led a working session with Camp Fire USA First Texas Council program staff, digging deeper into volunteer engagement best practices like identification and recruitment. This followed an introductory session on volunteer engagement during a March 8 staff retreat.
4/12/10 Fort Worth Transportation Authority (The T) hired Project Partners to facilitate five Community Conversations, important to the strategic planning process for the board of directors and planning team, then extended the work to include three additional sessions.
4/12/10 Lerii F. Smith coordinated and facilitated “Speed Mentoring” for the Association of Fundraising Professionals (AFP) Fort Worth Chapter luncheon. Lerii serves as VP of Membership for AFP.
4/10/10 Safe City Commission Inc.’s Safe City Ball-game and Imagine No Violence Arts Contest Recognition Event occurred simultaneously at the Ballpark in Arlington, under Project Partners’ direction, and in cooperation with the Texas Rangers. Clint Black in concert headlined the fun, interactive evening for the Ball-game corporate and community leaders, and art contest winners and their families were treated to high profile stadium recognition, plenty of good food, and a great Texas Rangers ball game.
4/9/10 Project Partners client and project, the Fort Worth CVB Advance Fort Worth, hit the $500,000 mark of cash and in-kind support. The Advance Fort Worth program attracts financial support and off-sets expenses, while creating valuable community relationships.
4/6/10 Project Partners was one of the three spotlighted businesses at the “Super Bowl XLV: Emerging Business Workshop III: The Draft” in Dallas. Project Partners was one of the first approved, certified, small businesses in the Super Bowl vendor database.
3/22/10 Project Partners welcomed The Gladney Center for Adoption as a new client. The Gladney Center is an adoption pioneer and a leading voice for improving lives of children, adoptive families and women planning adoption.
3/15/10 Camp Fire USA-First Texas Council’s new Corporate Committee for Quality Child Care established a first-ever child care network model pilot with Pier I and TCU as the first corporate partners. TCC is on deck to join the network as well this summer or fall. Project Partners had the privilege of consulting with the staff in the process of identifying, recruiting, and managing this new volunteer team and prospective network members.
3/11/10 Project Partners welcomed First Command Educational Foundation as a new client. First Command Educational Foundation promotes and provides education as the foundation to a productive society through scholarship and financial literacy programs.
2/25/10 Project Partners was recognized as one of twelve finalists for the Fort Worth Chamber’s Small Business of the Year Awards, presented by American National Bank of Texas.
